Manufacturing Information Systems (MES)
Production Order
and
Operation tracking
This TASC application module keeps track of your operations and production orders that have been released to the shop floor for processing. The feedback is accomplished by scanning the barcode of the work ticket. The worker can add additional data such as quantity-, status- and time stamp information via the FDC terminal. Payroll related data is assigned automatically through identification of the employees badge entry.
Quantity and status information will be tracked through the routing of the production order, so that accurate and validated information about the order status, consumed time and quantities incl. scrap as well as accounting information for cost analysis, is provided on an ongoing and online basis.
Labor reporting is handled on individual worker, multiple worker and work group level if applicable. In addition to the classic FDC operator feedback,TASC also supports the collection of operation feedback directly via the Machine Monitor or Man Machine Interface stations. In this case no manual feedback is necessary because the data are automatically filtered out of the data stream provided by the machine control. This provides the most accurate and timely feedback possible.
The FDC functions can also be emulated on a industrial PC, operating at the machine control level.
Therefore the machine operators do not have to use different user interfaces for data entry and machine control.
The MMI workstations operate on Windows2000/NT™ or Linux™ and are connected via LAN to theTASC server for online data access.
